Luke Scondras is a Massachusetts-licensed Professional Engineer with over 12 years of hands-on experience delivering civil and structural engineering solutions for projects across the country.

Before founding Scondras Engineering Group (SEG) in 2025, Luke built his expertise at several leading firms, including Jacobs, TranSystems (now GFT), Benesch, CDM Smith, and Turner Construction. His background spans structural design, transportation infrastructure, site design and development, solar array civil and structural engineering, permitting, and construction-phase services, all grounded in deep knowledge of Massachusetts requirements, including the State Building Code, MassDOT standards, MBTA guidelines, local zoning, and environmental regulations.

Today, much of SEG’s work is residential and light commercial structural design, including beam and header sizing, foundations, decks, additions, and repairs to existing framing, delivered as stamped permit sets for contractors and homeowners. SEG also continues to serve developers, municipalities, and solar installers with civil, site, and solar engineering.

Clients work directly with Luke from first call to final stamp. SEG focuses on clear communication, careful detailing, and fast turnaround, turning complex challenges into successful, long-lasting projects.
